Before you run it

Nothing here is code-signed yet, so both systems will object the first time.
macOS: right-click the app and choose Open, or run xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "Nocturne Park.app".
Windows: SmartScreen will warn — More info, then Run anyway.

The game keeps itself up to date after that: it checks on the menu, fetches the current build, and offers to restart into it. Everyone in a game has to be on the same build, so it will refuse to join one that is not.
